Please read:

The Friends of Firth website and group were first established in 1996 as an appreciation society for Colin Firth. From the start moderators and site owners have maintained an "admire from afar" stance. Even from the early days, our primary concern was for safety of everyone concerned.

If any of our group members wanted to attend a function or sent Colin and his family gifts, they have done so without associating the FoF name (although I suspect an early wedding gift sent had a card or two identified as Friends of Firth). This arms length policy continues to this day. We don't encourage close encounters with Colin, in fact on my old page, I did have a notice saying Mr. Firth does value his privacy and I encourage the fans to respect his and his family's privacy. In the light of recent events, I remind and recommend vistors to this site to please reserve your wish to see Mr. Firth in person only at public appearances.

Thank you.
